Sizing: To select the right choli size use both bra cup and dress size as a guide: Small fits A cup dress size 6-12 and B-cup dress size 4-8. Medium fits A cup dress size 14-16 and B cup dress size 10-14 and a C cup size 6-12. Large fits B cup dress size 16-20 and C cup 14-20. and a D-cup size 12-16.
Because the cholis are stretchy most people will fit into two sizes. Choose the larger if you want more coverage. The smaller, if you want a more back revealed and a tighter fit. The velvet is very supportive and does not stretch as much vertically as crosswise. this means even larger busted dancers are comfortable with out a bra! If you have a long torso and fall between sizes pick the larger size.
How to wear your choli with a Bra!
Although designed to support without a bra, some dancers with larger cup sizes want the maximum support and shapping a bra provides. But how to wear a bra with the open back design? A clever- big busted customer came up with this solution. Select an appropriate bra; one that is covered by the choli except for the hook and eye portion in the back. Fold or trim the hook and eye portion of the bra until it is hidden, pin or sew firmly to the back sides of the choli. And Voila!, support and elegance!
